Dr. Ma. Cresilda Paz “Krizzie” Salamilao- Sabularce is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist with advanced international training in fetal therapy, fetal surgery, and prenatal diagnostics. She recently completed a prestigious one-year Fellowship in Advanced Fetal Therapy and Surgery in Barcelona, Spain, where she trained under the mentorship of internationally renowned fetal medicine pioneer Prof. Dr. Eduard Gratacós. During her fellowship, she cared for families requiring complex fetal interventions while gaining extensive hands-on experience in fetal surgery, fetal cardiology, fetal neurosonography, and the comprehensive management of complicated twin pregnancies.
Her journey in fetal therapy began in 2022 in Germany, where she completed a Diploma in Minimally Invasive Gynecology under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Rudy Leon De Wilde and Prof Dr. Rajesh Devassy. Driven by her passion to provide the highest level of prenatal care, she continued her training in Colombia in 2023, earning a Diploma in Fetal Surgery under Prof. Dr. Mauricio Herrera. These international experiences have equipped her with a global perspective and the technical expertise to manage some of the most complex fetal conditions.
Dr. Sabularce completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Ospital ng Makati from 2011 to 2015. In 2018, she was accepted into the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship Program at The Medical City, where she further developed her expertise in high-risk pregnancy and prenatal diagnosis. Throughout her career, she has actively contributed to medical research, authoring and co-authoring numerous scientific publications presented and published both in the Philippines and internationally. She is also a sought-after speaker, regularly invited to share her expertise at national and international medical conferences.
Today, Dr. Sabularce serves as an active consultant at The Medical City and Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Medical Center, where she provides comprehensive maternal-fetal care while mentoring and training the next generation of Filipino obstetricians.
